Meet the healer Dr. Dallas. ND
Dr. Renette Dallas is a naturopathic doctor (N.D.), minister, author, lecturer, certified fitness trainer, raw food chef, and lecturer with expertise in nutrition, herbal therapy, enzyme therapy and magnetic therapy. She hosted a live fitness radio program for seven years, and a fitness TV program for five years. She also has degrees and twelve years professional experience in Architecture and Civil Engineering, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Perhaps best known as the creator of the healthy organic snack product, Life by Dallas Popcorn, Dr. Dallas believes health care reform starts with preventive holistic care and an appointment to her naturopathic “change your lifestyle” facility!
Dr. Dallas is on a personal crusade to educate and encourage individuals to become offensive in the war against the Big 3™, Obesity, Heart Disease and Diabetes especially in minority communities where there is a major disparity in health care alternatives. Her strategy is quite simple yet unique based on one of her favorite quotes, “Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food” by the Father of Natural Medicine, Hippocrates. Dallas specializes in herbal, enzyme and nutrition therapy.
When those who know her are asked “who’s she” an interesting phenomenon occurs. Rather than responding with her name people seemed compelled to describe Dallas using adjectives such as dynamic, energetic, inspirational, motivator, and disciplined. The general consensus is that Girlfriend has it going on!
Dallas has also been described as a walking encyclopedia on health and fitness. She enthusiastically shares her knowledge with others no matter what the circumstances - a brief encounter on the street, at the supermarket, the salon, a social function or at her fitness studio. She’s relentless in her commitment to helping others attain optimal health. Many attest to the profound impact she has made on their lives. This collective mantra has been the inspiration for this handbook, Fitness ABCs.
